Business Credit and Travel
If you own a business that requires you to travel, having business credit is essential. Not only is a credit card required to book a flight, it is essential when renting a car and very helpful when purchasing gasoline. It is almost impossible to travel anywhere without having a credit card. If you own your own business, you should be using a business credit card for these expenses.
Many companies that offer business credit cards reward their business customers with cash back or points for making purchases. These rewards can be very lucrative when the business card is used for traveling expenses. Many travel related companies, such as hotels and airlines, offer discounts to business travelers. Every penny counts when the business is your own, so use a business credit card and take advantage of every reward and discount program available.
Having business credit is especially if anything goes wrong while traveling on business. A major car repair or missed flight can be annoying, but if you have no business credit available to rent a car or purchase another flight, you could lose a major sale. Clients don’t care what problems you may have in reaching them, they only care whether or not you have the resources to get back on the road.
